Join Patrick Shannon, founder of Haida Gwaii Media Collective and Innonative Films, and Michael Tanko Grand, producer at Grand Scheme, as they discuss their recent work and approaches to fostering local talent and creating opportunities for diverse voices in Canadian production. A key highlight of the panel will be their discussion of the Haida Gwaii Media Collective, an initiative aimed at training Indigenous crew and creating opportunities for local production companies to hire them.
